The Southeast Asian Journal of Islamic Education Management published State Islamic Institute of Ponorogo (IAIN Ponorogo) and Organized by Islamic Education Management Study Program, Faculty of Tarbiyah and Teacher Training.

• The online articles were first published in 2020 (Volume 1, Number 1). Starting from Volume 1, the journal has been registered with both E-ISSN (2715-9604) and P-ISSN (2715-9604) by the ISSN National Centre for Indonesia, under the Centre for Scientific Data and Documentation – Indonesian Institute of Sciences (PDII-LIPI) in 2020.
• The Southeast Asian Journal of Islamic Education Management adopted a new article format and writing template beginning with Volume 2, Number 1 in 2021.
• The journal has been accredited with SINTA 5 starting from Volume 1, Number 2, on October 3, 2022.
• The Southeast Asian Journal of Islamic Education Management implemented another change in its article format and writing template starting from Volume 4, Number 1 in 2023.
